There are strong rumours on twitter that Sturrock has been approached for a 3rd stink at HP .... Please someone, anyone tell me that this is a wind up
Lionel Blair would be more effective!!! Or it may be father and son coming to help us out!!! Oh dear, that means the surfer will be back on?
In this league and in the cold light of day would this be such a bad move? I doubt it will happen but..............
Have you forgotten he played his part in getting us to the place we are now ....... NOOOOOOO dont want him back !
Not Many will want him back. at least if he did come back he would not have any money to waste on jocks
I haven't forgotten a thing and as I'm scared for life I doubt I ever will. However, he has proved time and time again in this type of league he can cut the mustard. Taking sentiment apart who would you rather have Sturrock or Fletcher if it was between the two. It isn't going to happen though is it so it is just a for fun point of view.
Stick with Fletch for a few more games and then i think it will need to change. It is the same as last seasons start
It'd be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. If there is a god then he won't be back (praying hard)
I'll bet my house he won't be back in any event so it is just for arguments sake really. That was fence sitting Gat. The question was if it was between the two of them and not having a manager is not the option. Despite the last visit I would prefer Sturrock anyday. We aren't in the Championship now and this is his domain.
Sturrock brought in loads of useless Scottish players and some players on hefty salaries which I believe played a part in our demise, he also left us for 30 pieces of silver when it suited him so it would have to be Fletcher at least he stayed with us during our darkest hours caused partly by Sturrock .... I didn't want him back 2nd time around !
As we all know at Argyle, anything can happen but would not feel too distressed if Luggy came back....what went on at his last stint was more political than anything I feel....Was'nt he going to publish a book at one time and reveal some of the calamities that went on in our darkest hour?
Fletcher has stayed with us because no one came for him....even when we where willing to sell the kitchen sink and the tea lady.....and he was player of the season twice because we where in serious decline and we had no better players to vote for.....hence relegation twice.
Fletcher before Luggy again any day of the week. At least Fletcher is trying to play football not the dreaded 'hoof it to the big man' the blood and snotters'-loving Scotsman would have us do.
I think Paul Sturrock returning for a third stint at Home Park is slightly more likely than Harry Redknapp returning to Pompey and marginally more likely than SAF bening Man City's next manager.
