Is it me that is finding him very annoying, Its unlike him to talk out of term like this, he said Luke Shaw isn't worth 34 million, i agree with him on that but then again who is.

You find him annoying for saying Luke Shaw isnt worth £34m, but then you say you agree with him?!!?
    (he is right).

The only thing I questioned was his comments on Rooney before the WC kicked off.
I agree with them to an extent in that Rooney doesnt seem to have developed much as a player since he was 21.
But he really should have kept those thoughts to himself, especially just before a WC

  3. He never used to say a word to the media, since he's retired he doesn't shut up. I'm convinced Fergie was gagging him <laugh>

Nah mate, why don't you make numerous posts objecting to the presence of 'outsiders' thus creating an air of animosity towards what is merely inane football banter.

That'll do it - see JB or saint for details on how it's done effectively <ok>

p.s. Scholes is right, daft money.

I reckon Scholesy just loves to troll. He used to do it all the time whenever anyone could pin him down to do an interview. Every time he was asked about his fouling he'd give a different random explanation, causing yet another flurry of media speculation around why a half blind, asthmatic short arse couldn't tackle to save his life. I think he applies the same approach to his punditry - wind a few people up, have a bit of a laugh.

To be fair it does seem to be the only way to be a pundit nowadays - if you don't make the odd controversial comment some of the time then everyone says you're boring. Doesn't help that Scholesy sounds a fair bit like Phil Neville....

As for Shaw, he's probably not worth in based on what fees were at a couple of years back. But now every club in the PL has an extra £50m of TV money sloshing around their accounts and we have AON and Chevrolet throwing money at us like we're a granny stripper at a Rooney family night out. Much like van Persie - if win the league next year and Shaw makes a massive contribution to that then we got him for a steal. If we are **** and he is **** then we overpaid. Toss your coin now.

It's not talking to the press, he's earning money from Betfair (or fred) and so has a blog in which he airs his views. I bet he has a little chuckle everytime he drops a bomb too.
No doubt paid to be a bit controversial. He's right, Shaw is overpriced. But then so are ALL footballers so it's a non story.

  11. Could he be paying someone else to do the blog for him? Maybe he left it to his agent who employed someone, we all know agents are lazy scumbags.
