the game against Sunderland could of been his last game for united unless he signs 1 more year with us.

I think he should play on, having him in our dressing room does help and his experience can help even if it has to be him coming on from the bench, he can change games like against Chelsea when he came on he changed the game.

against Sunderland you can clearly see he still has it because he had another good game for us. It shows that he rushed his decision last season to retire.

he can also inspire young players and having him around will be great.

We should and i expect Sir Alex to buy more midfield player's this season to rebuild us but also having Scholes in our team is a bonus and can help the new signings too.

This season, Scholes saved us because i think if we didn't have him coming back, our midfield would of been in trouble because we lost Fletcher due to his health problems this season, Anderson he was injured most of the season and also Cleverley after a bright start he was also out for most of our season so that made us short in mid, so him returning did help us and he was great since his return. People said Scholes would never play good as he used to when he came back but he proved everyone wrong.

do you think he should play on for us?

This, I seriously think there will be at least 3 signings this summer and it will part of those positions they play <ok>

Scholes should definetly stay on but not at the expense of another midfielder signing on.

He has shown, and proven myself wrong in the process, that he still has the quality to cut it at this level.

We do however need a midfield that can play two games in a week, which he simply can't do anymore but I definetly think he should stay on.

Scholes and Giggs should stay on but this should not affect the new transfer signings in the midfield area that we really need.

I doubt they are on basic wages either.

Great player, but his presence is now as important as his contribution, he's been giving the ball away in the tougher games and runs out of steam after 60 minutes in the later stages of the season, he's run the odd mile for United over the years has scholes:)

He's done for me, he can certainly still play but legs mean you only got so many games, 20ish games in Paul not much more, still class but has been making mistakes when knackered, he looked fooked in the last couple of games when he came off
