Paul Merson........................genius

I have just been looking at Paul Merson's weekly predictions so far this season. He has predicted us to lose every game apart from Fulham at home, where he had us down for a 1-1 draw.

Now, I know that we have accumulated more points than most of us would have predicted, and we have not played that well, but according to him, we should have only picked up 1 point from our opening 5 games. This would have put us bottom of the league, does this muppet really think that we are the worst team in the Premiership? We have not even played Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City yet!

I just hope that he continues to predict us losing, as the day he starts saying that we are going to win will be the day that I will expect us to fall apart.

How much are Sky paying this buffoon?

Like you said, the man is a buffoon. I'm sure apart from stumbling into the 'Soccer Saturday' studios every Saturday, he pays very little attention to Football. The guy can't even speak, let alone form a well thought out opinion. I find him amusing from time to time, but it's more laughing at him, rather than with him. How he's gainfully employed as some type of 'football expert', is beyond me.

 

All the pundits on it have been slating us for too long now, soon they will start squirming.

 

They are all useless,uneducated and biased.Mersons moronic prenunciations of many simple,simple names is beyond a joke, he couldn't even pronounce Zigic last season,called him Vidic everytime. Total Junkie scumbag twat!!!

 

The ****er also predicted Alan Pardew to be the first manager sacked.



He must have some kind of grudge against us.

 

They are so biased towards the southern sides. We are so far North they barely even know we exist. I have gave up watching the pre and post match results "punditary" on Soccer Saturday as they get me so angry. I only watch the results coming in now!!!

Not a thing, however when I called the advisor was actually laughing a bit.

They have given me half price for 12 months.

Perhaps everyone should do the same and maybe they will get Barry Venison on there or someone.

 

This weeks will be interesting (Blackburn not Forest). If he has anything other than a home win then he really does have something against us!

 

at the start of the season, half of the sky pundits predicted us to get relegated (with Merson predicting a 19th place finish for us)

 

I find him funny occasionally, but again its laughing at not with. He really does struggle to pronounce simple words and his past should dictate that he is not the right type of person to work in TV. Just because you're a top footballer it doesn't mean you have the ability to talk about it. Most footballers are thick after all.

 

That just goes to show how pig-ignorant most of them are! They only pay attention to the top 6 in this country and Real and Barca, on the continent. As they could only come to this conclusion of us, based on the fact that our signings have been 'unknown'. Clearly forgetting the success story of Tiote last season.

I know he's not on Sky anymore, but I'm sure I heard Andy Gray on talkSport the other day, trumpetting about how he had said Cabaye would be a huge success this season(!!!). I can't say I listen to evey minute religiously, but the fact he had anything positive to say about us seems far fetched. Seeing as I'm sure he had us to go down last season and possibly this as well?!

 

I don't think they do hate us I just think they don't know much about us.
