He said (words to the effect): "after that performance, we deserved to be booed off the pitch...." what he neglected to say (I think): "but I get paid whatever so why should I care. I don't live here and until this Summer I didn't even know where Hull was anyway. Value for money doesn't really come in to it. All that matters is that I have only got a few years left to play, and this is a good final pay day for me."
I beg your pardon, that should have read: "on behalf of the players, we get paid whatever.......etc......"
What a bitter post that was. Why assume all players/people are the same? Perhaps a visit to the medicine cabinet is called for, couple of bottles of Prozac should do the trick.
This is out of order, I thought of all the players last night McKenna and East were the players that actually put in a shift. Give him a chance, he needs players to move for him to pass it to them, there wasn't any of that last night. He ended up on the wing at one point to do it himself.
Mckenna has done what he is there for it's certain other players who have been below par. This post reminds me of last season and the Harper bashing.
McKenna is definitely better then last night showed, don't start criticising the new players after 2 ****ing games
In my humble view McKenna put in a shift last night! One loose pass in the second half perhaps. Harper was less effective but I wouldn't even be getting on his back. It's two games in that's all. Ok, it was really dissapointing, I travel over from Lincoln and I wondered why I'd bothered on the way back. There again, I remember coming over to see us against Man City in the premiership expecting a defeat and the players not to have a go and we won 3-1. It's early days...keep the faith!
CORRECT. I also think Pusic lost interest for the same reasons. Pusic on the left and Brady on the right for Ipswich. Think a 4 - 5 - 1 formation for Ipswich Town game. GULACSI ROSENOIR CHESTER HOBBS DUDGEON McKENNA EVANS BRADY KOREN PUSIC FRYATT or SIMPSON. NB>Burnsie mentioned last night that he thinks Fryatt has been struggling with Flu ?
NB>Burnsie mentioned last night that he thinks Fryatt has been struggling with Flu ?
If correct, then it was perhaps an odd decision by Nigel to put him out there. I assume Fryatt must have said he was fit to play!
This should Include Cairney, after his performance against Blackpool, he showed a lot of promise even though he wasn't in the game throughout!
Fair point well made. It may also depend on how fit they all are on thursday when they get back to Cottingham.
If correct, then it was perhaps an odd decision by Nigel to put him out there. I assume Fryatt must have said he was fit to play!
Agreed, but City have no other strikers who could play. Maybe a 50% fit Fryatt is better than nowt ?

If you're criticising McKenna for being money grabbing, it's probably worth remembering that he had a year left on his contract at Forest to run that he walked away from. I'm pretty certain his deal there was worth more than he is on with us. He has come here to play so maybe think before you post eh?

If we were always going for an experienced head in the middle, perhaps we should have looked here? - Derry to Palace: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11711_7089567,00.html
