He's a top fella. I personally don't think Kean ever had the credentials to take Blackburn forward but with everything that has gone on, I do feel sorry for him. Once he was appointed, the fans should have got behind him. I think they have contributed to their own downfall to some degree. The venky's are deluded and have obviously played too much FIFA.
I think Steve Kean has more going for him than poor old Terry Cooper, now there's a man that I REALLY feel sorry for!
From what I've seen of Blackburn on TV here in Vietnam - and from the game at Carrow Road - they definitely should not be one of the relegation teams. I think their fans have got what they deserved in many ways by spending more time attacking their own manager than supporting their players.
Blackburn fans protesting deserve championship football next year but the player and manager definitely don't What a sad situation.
Disgraceful way to carry on.Considering what they have had to put up with it's surprising that they are not slugging it out with Wolves for 20th place.I really hope he gets them out of it.
Don't get me started on Terry Cooper. Plus that Terry Connor from Wolves hasn't proven to be much of a replacement for Mick McCarthy, either
Paul Lambert upset by "Fickle fans!" Had I not read the Daily Star article before clicking on your thread dave, I would have spat my coffee out
you've got to admire Kean's balls of steel. The fact he was appointed purely on the basis of his relationship with the owners leads me to believe that he and the club (but not the fans) get what they deserve. I don't agree with Lambert and I think we'll be seeing similar scenes at Portman Road next season.
I thought you lot had 'turned the corner' Hampy ? You still not happy with PJ then ? Be careful what you wish for, Glenn Roeder's looking for a management post
