Give him a decent pre-season under the tutelage of Steve Clarke and we might have a decent Left back in him. I don't ever remember complaints from Fulham or forest fans and Paul can't control his mother and she is old enough to speak for herself so please don't tar Paul with what his mum said as they weren't his thoughts.

Of all the players i'd like see succeed at Liverpool, I think Paul Koncheskey would be the one i'd like see succeed most

He needs to get in shape, no offence intended but he's not a Fulham player now he has stepped up a level and needs to put the work in.

Excellent post. I still think he will be sold but I don't think he should be given this much abuse. At the moment, he's a Liverpool player and until he isn't, I will give Paul my backing.

I still think he could do a job for a mid-table Premier League side. If he does leave, I wish him all the best in his future career.

I don't think we should give him a pre-season. He never was, and never will be good enought for us.

Not even worth it as a back up due to his age. We use Flano as cover, and buy a proper left back.

£500k and up and I would let him go. I wouldn't say he was a disgrace to the club though, just out of his depth.

What exactly did his mother say?

Yeah, don't feel his upto the task. Most people decline at his age, even the best players can look dreadful, and Konchesky's best time lay at Fulham, and now he is decline.

I doubt we'll keep him, good luck to him in the future <ok>

Unfortunately thats the harsh reality. No disrespect to him or his abilities but he just needs to be moved on if he wants a hope of resurrecting his career. Even in the reserves they'd rather give the youngsters a shot to move them through the ranks.

    Humm

He might have to move down a league to prove himself as well. He's better off going to someone likes Leeds or Southampton.

Be part of a push to get back in the Premiership

Bozz your either a nevertonian or manc, "of all the players I would like like to succeed its konchesky" bitter blue stench all over it, yes he cant control his mum, but to not come out and apologize is disgraceful, dispicable, as for give him a pre season, you could give him a million and he would NEVER EVER be Liverpool class, as for fulham fans etc dont say nothing. yes because hes their level

Well said Bozz! is it the heat? are you all mellow like me too? I agree that you have to be a right narc to hold his mums comments about scousers over him. She was only responding to all the **** she was getting about him from so called Liverpool fans who were posting on her Facebook page. So she was a bit misguided, as most of the tits who post insulting **** like that don't usually come from Liverpool.

I have a theory that the less you know the more opinionated you get about it. So people who go the match, might not think he's the best in the world, but since the whole team was crap, it would have been a bit unfair to single him out, but then you get the people in the UK, who don't go the match, but listen on the radio and watch the highlights on the telly, and from that exposure they appear to form a harsher opinion about the lads skill. Then you get the people who post ****e on the web, who get all big and brave when they are hidden from the world by a computer screen. So they will use over exaggerated and harsh phrases, since they don't get any comeback, so they are posting that this is the worst person ever to pull on a red shirt etc.. So then the people around the world who don't get any other exposure other than the crap on the web, and their opinion is the worst of all, as the only "facts" they have are from the morons spouting bile. So they they vent the worst of all, and are ordering people to Kill the player. So forgive him mum, if she is getting an inbox full of "Your son is ****" "did you drop him on his head as a baby?" bollox. I'd have vented as she did, I would just know it wasn't the scousers:emoticon-0116-evilg

Anyhow, expecting him to be sacked for it, is childish, yes he might get sold, but in the mean time, he is a Liverpool player, it's warm, I'm mellow, and he has my support, and if he goes, he has my thanks for giving it a crack, and I'm sorry it never worked out for him. Was it him who brought himself here? Is it his fault if he is out of his depth? You have to blame doddery Woy, not the lad himself.

Now please people, don't make me come around and slap you for spouting uncalled for angry ****. We are Liverpool, we handle ourselves with respect, and we support each and every player at our club until we sell them, and then we call them **** ;-)
