I have read through some of the threads on here and it seems as if everyone is against Paul Jewell. Personally I think he is a really good manager with an exceptional track record of success. It's just a matter of time before it all comes together and true Ipswich fans should support him. I agree that we need a centre back and it's a shame that Delaney has gone because I think this is why we are giving away some silly goals. We need to find a good partner for Tommy Smith and our back four would be far more solid. When our strikers start knocking in the goals as well, I think you will see us climbing up the table. Keep the faith and don't be negative. PJ will come good!
Not a wind up at all. Delaney and McCauley were really good together we miss their class. PJ has got teams promoted before and will again. Have faith.
If PJ ever did visit I am sure he would be very disappointed to see so many negative comments!! I will continue to support whoever is the manager of our club.
I think it's very sad that just because someone has positive things to say that it must be a 'wind up'. Some on here seems to just want to moan and groan all the time - at least I stay positive.
It's all very well being positive but unfortunately the reality is that we are going down if this clown is allowed to continue! Positivity is all very good but being completely blinkered is another matter entirely. Oh and welcome to our forum but I don't think there will be many on here that will agree with you on this!
I do agree that Delaney and McAuley were a good pairing CanariesSoccer but unfortunately Delaney next to anyone else was calamitous.
Go easy on him lads, I'm not sure if it's a wind up or if he's genuinely serious, funny all the same.
.........and your contribution to this thread so far Welly Blue is ??????? Typical example of one that just likes to see us lose so he / she can have a good moan.
Can't see how anyone has contributed anything of worth to this thread, no need to single Welly out. I'm taking bets now on if we see this lad on the boards tomorrow.
