Also, there's an external perception that we would just ignore any fines, casually letting the bills pile up on the door mat while the bailiffs hammer at the door. We would challenge the fine and a negative outcome would either work out in a payment or, sadly, administration where a four tier demotion would, most definitely, be anti-competitive and probably illegal based on the existing rules and precedents.
He's certainly right in pointing out our approach to these big away games and basically handing them the points.
