Only just heard about the lad by text from my mate today, after we had been talking about him on Friday. Broken tibia and fibula courtesy of a shocking challenge by a Rangers u-19 player in Saturday's match, won 3-0 by the young bhoys.

Sad news as the wee man had been quite promising this year. Hopefully he recovers fully!

It doesn't matter what Rangers team we play, our players are at risk of serious injury no matter which Rangers team we play.
May the day soon come when our skilled players can play a game of football without risking life and limb. May the Rangers die in peace.

I'm sure he didn't really want to hurt the boy George.

Thanks for posting the video Reb - looks like there were a few crude 'challenges'.

It was my big mate who works for Rangers that had told me about it. Said the ref lost the plot early doors, and it was a free for all with the tackles.

Seems it was fortunate then that there weren't more young Celts seriously injured.
