    Know this been doin the rounds but Radio solent reporting Saints are close to completing the signing of goalkeeper paul gascoigne aka Paulo Gazzaniga

    Hi mate gills fan here just wondering if this was actually broadcast on bbc radio solent and if so what time as us gills fans have heard nothing this end .If this is true you have got yourselves one quality keeper and I for one will be sad to lose him .

    He's reported to be very good, but also young. Probably one that Saints feel they can work with as Buttland is being priced out of the game...I doubt the latter is six times better than Gazzaniga.

    Maybe you shouldn't be so ignorant when it comes to football, it seems that if someone hasn't played in the PL or championship you haven't heard of them.

    Unlikely we'd have heard of a GK from Gillingham. The thing is that NA/NC have heard of him, presumably from scouts.

    And for a young keeper, what better club to sign for. Working under the ever enthusiastic ex-keeper Nigel, with time to grow & develop. Sounds like a really good move.

    Heard this rumour a week or two ago; thought it was on here. Anyway, saw YouTube (I know) clips of him & if his distribution is really as good as they show, he could teach Kelivin a thing or two and boy does he have a long kick to go with the accuracy.

    Gazza in Forecast out. Hard to judge how a league 2 player will step up. Would be surprised if he plays much this season.
