Very sad News, I watched him play many times, and even though not a big guy was a very steady centre half. In later years played golf with him a few time at Hessle G.C, a real gentleman and extremely nice and humble guy. RIP Paul.
Remember him and Brian Garvey coming to talk to a group of us when i was in the Boys Brigade! Came across as a decent chap.Saw him play a few times always gave his best, like another ex City player who has passed on ,Billy Wilkinson. RIP.
Just woke up in the Philippines and have been saddened by the death of Paul Feasy. My father took me to my first game in 1959. The Tigers center half played really well and Paul Feasy became my first hero. I have never posted on here before, but nave been a long time reader. Have a tear in my eye. Thanks for keeping us expats informed about tne Tigers.
R.I.P. Paul Feasey. You retired just before i became a Hull City supporter so never saw you play. But the stats dont lie. You apparantly played the way centre backs should play and like James Chester now your lack of height was not an issue. Interesting that P.F. was not impressed with how the modern day game was going. I wonder why ?
Sad news indeed. He was also one of my boyhood heroes and was a fine header of the ball, a real Tigers stalwart during the period when tackling was allowed. RIP andf thanks for the memories.
A hard working solid center half even if he was a little on the short side for the position. I believe he went back to work as a tradesman after his playing days. R.I.P. Paul. http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/
