I liked the bit about the second half brace from Baldock with McManus goal inbetween. This is our own site surely they know Sam Baldock scored his first goal in the FIRST half <doh>

And has anyone noticed that is our first goal from a corner since Caulker against QPR in 2010! I know Taylor scored against Crystal Palace but that one turned into a goal mouth scramble, this one was pass headed straight in <ok>

This is all part of the problem that has plagued us for many years in that our defence and midfield haven't contributed much in the way of goals.

Yesterday, McManus scored and Bates was foiled twice whilst trying to get on the end of a 1-2 to leave himself clear on the keeper...

    Promising....

Maybe because he is not very goid at defending and needed someone behind him? Now Cunningham is back we will probably see more of him now. Could you imagin poor Joe Bryan trying to improve his position without any help in front of him. Pearson when awake does track back a bit so does Woolford and Stead when used in that position.

Not saying he is ****e at defending, but he did get pushed off the ball a bit.

But he is class going forward.

And believe it or not Del see's more of him than we do, wonder if Fergie gets the fans turning on him for using RVP as a sub and making 5 changes in lineups <ok>

Well Fergie actualy plays his own signings. You reckon he put Stead at left midfield sometimes for his defending attributes?? No. He played as an attacking midfielder, why would an AM need to defend when he has two holding players behind him.

**** me LAN your clutching at straws saying Fergie plays his own signings, if he played any from previous management they would be ****ing ancient <laugh>

Plus I don't know how old you are, but Fergie bought Ralf Milne of us and he was a pile of ****. So not even the best get it right <ok>

Mark wilson, Morris, Anderson.. all of Dels signings.. do they ever play?? Hardley clutching at straws. You're comparing Fergie not playing RVP because he's played something like 4 games in 10 and being rested, to Mciness's refusal to play Anderson until the last few games? now thats clutching at straws.

They'll blame it on him not being more defensive than others lan <doh> because all the other LMs we've played this season have been brilliant at doing that <doh>

Del was asked this question a few weeks ago at the question and answer session in the Exhibition hall, he said he didn't think he was showing enough in training (as far as I remember) I think he needs to man up a little, I noticed he had a tendency to make a meal out of a few strong challenges.

If he carries on playing like that he will continue to be selected...

Del will continue to pick what he thinks is the best team based on the opposition, injuries, illness, recent performance, and who is impressing (or not impressing) in training. Unfortunately most of us think we know better even though we don't have all this info to base team selection on
