aye, if we include the smoggies in north east teams as many still do...our home grown players have been quite thin on the ground in general so i am guessing the lad meant his 'once in a generation' line as just that, local lads coming good.

Always said I miss the derbies. I'll not lie I would have chuckled if yous had blown it again, but today, and over the last few weeks you's have deserved it. You's have had a load of late goals that have turned a point into 3 and fought to the death so the congrats is real. I think it goes to show its the teams hitting form that win the play offs and those losing form struggle. Hopefully your owners have learned from past mistakes.

We have had good lads come through our academy that have went on to big things. Clubs like ours don't churn these players put regularly, especially local lads!
We all know some clubs can go about and grab all the young talent from clubs and claim them as their own youth player when they make it, but it's not the same thing. This is what I think the poster meant by once in a generation!
He also has a dig on here on a the mags thread asking if we are having a parade with the trophy or some ****e!

You have got me mixed up aswell. As I have never been on the warm glow thread before so wasn't pointing out the warm glow thread but a post on our own mags thread that's I thought was you but wasn't.

Seriously, as long as we're above you's.
