Svens after him, i'm pretty sure he played for Newcastle last season. Correct me if i'm wrong but he was the one who saved the ball off the line and ran down the other end of the pitch with it and nearly scored an absolute screamer. I think he is decent, a bit like Cunningham really and with Berner finding the pace of the championship a little tough recently, I would welcome the move. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6699944,00.html
It looks like a deal is tangled in another Chelsea transfer so im assuming this move is unlikely - the fact that they are only willing to let him go on loan says quite a lot though!

Thanks for the link amaway Excellent signing, should do really well for us! Now I just want a good Goalkeeper and I reckon we have a team that will be very, very tough to beat!
He's our future left back. Potentially better than Ashley Cole and could be one of the best leftback's in the world in a few years. Reckon he'l get many games?
Sven has got no problem with throwing loans straight into the side. Unless he gets injured I assume he'll be our regular left back, especially considering what you've said about him. No chance of us signing him permanently then.
As much as he's liked by the fans, Bruno isn't the player he was last season. A very, very capable back-up, but I'm surprised he actually manages to get through some games, the amount of running he has to do. So I hope so.
Players who have suffered from Second Season Syndrome; Chris Weale Jack Hobbs Bruno Berner Martyn Waghorn Matty Fryatt Players who have pushed on; Paul Gallagher Richie Wellens Lloyd Dyer
The guy is supposed to be the next Ashley Cole who is rated by many as the best left back in the world.
You could argue that those 2 have both had spells where they've suffered from it too. Hopefully Hobbs, Waghorn and Weale can find their form again, like Gallagher and Dyer have. I don't think it's helped that we've had an unsettled side all season. Waghorn is never going to prove himself when Howard is being brought on ahead of him. It's no coincidence that the midfield 3 and front 3 is suddenly looking fantastic now that it is more settled, whereas the defence is still conceding whilst being chopped and changed After all, class is permanent.
