Patrick gets pole at Daytona

Wow! Danica beatxs the good ol eboys to take the first ever NASCAR Cup pole for a female driver.

Can she pull off the big one and win it? If not, her form in the new generation of NASCAR has been impressive from the start, so imagine she'll be in Victory Lane at some point this season.

Well... first woman to lead a lap at Daytona now. If she can avoid trouble she could really be in with a shout at the end.

 

This should all kick off once this caution is out of the way.

Glad this race didn't last 2 days like last year.

Wasnt able to find a channel it was on and not near computer so couldnt stream it

Jimmy Johnson took it in the end with Jr on a charge in second. Jr left his run a little to late to take the win but had the pace to do it. Danica just didn't really seem to hook up in the last few laps. She should have probably tagged on witn Jr. She wound up 8th. She didn't look too happy about it either. Think she knew she could have been a little braver at the end.
