Err, how about some proven Premier League experience? He would be a gamble and what don't need right now is to sign anyone who is gamble or we aren't sure is going to be able to hit the ground running and instantly improve the team. I'd rather bring Adam Armstrong back and try him than sign Bamford. What we should be doing, though, is signing Charlie Austin.
Bamford is a good player but if we sign a fwd I want him to be rapid or alternatively Charlie Austin...or both.
Charlie Austin will run down his contract now. Far bigger pay day for him in the summer. Plus, why come to a bottom 3 side?
He would cost too much. I can see him as part of a player plus cash exchange though with Moussa going to Chelski.
