Well done to keith Millen, for sticking to his guns, and not rushing in to any old signing to please some of our supporters, young Spence is a great signing, and will bolster our defence. This is Millens team, so lets give the man a fair crack of the whip, 15 games minimum and see where we are.
Agreed - there is alot of silly money being spent so it's hard to compete with that We have all seen Spence last season and will have seen for ourselves he's already a decent player at Championship level.
Good post Al Fools rush in and all that... This is the season to judge Millen on, and I hope City fans are patient with him if we get off to a bad start. 15 games is a good shout to see how he fares and I'm remaining optimistic about this season. I think we'll be up and around the play-offs about 6-9 points behind the leading pack all the way through the season like we did in League 1 for all those years before finally escaping into The Championship...
My goodness - you guys are easily pleased. Patience Pays Off my arse! One minute you're bawling at Millen and your board to get their bloody fingers out and get you some decent players, the next minute you get one promising (but unproven) youngster back on loan and everything is rosy. You sound like a bunch of supporters who've been given a dummy to suck and now think it's Christmas.
I'll agree with you 100% there about VETCH wizey , but is this issue too much for you to contemplate? Nothing boring about it mate. I've got to get you thinking and talking football with us before the season starts instead of you gazing into your own navels all the time.
You have never heard me bawling at Millen you old sheep s----r, one player does'nt make a team, but he will certainly improve our squad.
stephen hawkings upfront would improve your team with the great 6 goals a season robbie earnshaw come to think of it i think hawkings would outscore robbie........
