Just one word I need to describe last nights performance. Feel free to add your own.

Okay to some degree,I did find the performance pathetic. However I tend to think positives. The effort was there to all to see.
However, the problem lies with the quality of the overall squad. What I mean is,its sticking out like a massive eyesore Liverpool need width.
Due to Liverpools overall lack of width,Joe Cole and Maxi are definitely not the answer.Liverpool played into Braga's hands, because all Braga had to do was push up with their defence almost on top of their four man midfield to nullify the Liverpool threat.
Do you think for one minute,if Liverpool had natural widemen, that they would have played diagonal balls from the back up to Andy Carroll.?It was more one dimensional than pathetic. There seemed to be no plan B.
Will Kenny rectify this in the summer.I'm sure he will. Will he be allowed to,I'm 100% sure he will.If he wasn't Damien Comolli would have never been employed and have spent the last 5 months identifying a transfer short-list for the summer. This short-list on Kennys say so will be shortened even further.
The doom mongerers aka Man United fans will say that NESV won't dip their hands into their pocket for a substantial transfer kitty. However I'm more inclined to think otherwise. Its been reported that Kenny may have to ship a few players out to sign more players.I can think of a valid reason for this.It has to do with a 25 man squad.
He has to clear the players that he knows aren't part of his plans,as there isn't any point of having them on the wage bill for the simple reason, they won't get games,as thats what ''Not being part of the managers plans'' means.Only intelligent people will understand this.
This refers back to the point I made refering to Man United. Most clubs are clearing the **** out of their squads,Man United are offering theirs new contracts.
For the simple reason, they haven't got the money to sign replacements, and they are going to make massive losses if they attempt to sell them.Even Man City(who stupidly paid 22 million for Lescott) wouldn't pay 18 million for Carrick or 20 million for Anderson. So that is the only reason why Man United offered them new contracts. They cannot face the embarrassment of making a minimum of a 30 million loss on both. They would make that sum of a loss as nobody in their right mind would pay more than 8 million for the two,as they both stink.

Again Mereiles had a bad passing and positional night, he was poor, poor and looked a bit lazy at times, I was not impressed by his performance at all, it could have made the difference. Luis was a big miss for us.

Anyway it is far too soon to be talking about anything, summer has to come and go before we know what is happening, We should have beaten Braga but we didn't, every time United have this they bleat on about replacing players and is it time for Fergie to go.

    Kind Who?
I see, his reputation was built on last nights game. Oh he's King Kenny, a king who ruled United at his Anfield domain and went down to a "Penalty" at OT
He aint doin bad I tell thee in the short few months he's been running things.

Also all you mancs idolise a dipper you complete numpties:)

I love how he tries to keep on topic, but just degenerates into his usual random babbling about United! Sooner or later he does it in every thread...

We're so lucky we've got so many Mancs camped on our board to keep things on-topic. Swarbs knows about "every thread" on this board. Most Liverpool fans aren't that obsessed about it.

We should make them mods. At least let's give them attendance medals.

Ah Swarbs is ok, he is just consumed with Bitterness and I reckon he gets more pleasure from Liverpool losing that he does from United winning. He is lonely and comes on here for intelligent debate as he knows he aint gona get that on his own board. thats why a lot of those prawn sandwich brigadiers end up on here.

It is actually fine ot be a bad loser, as long as you suck it up and take it, not blame the ref the linesmen or the playstation controller. It is ok to get owned at anfield and not like it.

It aint that matey, he got owned at anfield and got lucky twice at the swamp with the 3 2 and hte non pen 1 0 and absolutely owned at Anfield, we have been the better side overall 1 v 1 so he can't talk football, how can he, united though doing well have not played a decent 90 minutes all season, lucky for them Arse and Chelsea City aint performing either. So it is finances, owners (Yikes I'd leave that one) yadda yadda yadda. Not football no.

Swarbs also likes to see things that aint there, like the Marseille defence:)

I tihnk Swarbs is really Ray Wilkins. he called United play against Marseille "Scintillating" It mus tbe him only Swarbs can be that cockeyed:)

He's ok. Other than his on going war of words with KPR you usually get a good bit of banter and quite a lot of facts from the guy. If it wasn't for people visiting other teams boards it would be quite boring on here.

Aw, I'm touched you feel the need to debate me in such detail. It makes me feel wanted. Guess I'll stick around if y'all feel so strongly about me :)

Practice what you preach maybe? Or is it ok for Liverpool fans to blame the ref for their losses?

I agree with Bringbackfootee on that one.
Man United beat Liverpool at the toilet 3-2 having had a 2 goal lead.It was far from a battering.
The second game, the win came from a non penalty.Only a complete moron would say Agger fouled Berbatov.
We beat United to a pulp at Anfield.3-1 didn't flatter Liverpool. It should have been more.

You do have a very short memory there. When we played you at Old Trafford, you had one shot on target (from Gerrard's free kick) and one penalty. You didn't even test our keeper apart from the free kick. You may have battered us at Anfield, but we gave you a deserved beating at OT and the scoreline flattered you like you wouldn't believe.

As for the "non penalty" so I supposed you're going to conveniently ignore the two penalties we should have had for fouls on Giggs and Evans? Or do they not fit into your tin hat consipiracy theory?

What fouls on Giggs and Evans.?
You didn't get out of your own half in the second half of the Cup game.We managed that with 10 men when Gerrard was wrongfully sent off.
3-2 is not a deserved beating...One word describes it......fluke.Seeing as John O Shea should have walked for being last man when he fouled Torres. Why wasn't he,it was at Old Trafford. And Howard Webb Fergusons bum chum was refereeing it.
