An Arsenal fan posts a sarcastic article saying "I support Manchester United because they are the best team" (or words to that affect) and I respond to this with "I am an Arsenal fan because I come from an African Country and have lived in London for four years", sarcastically using the fact that Arsenal have a lot of fans from French speaking African countries, and I get accused of being racist. Nevermind that people are always having sarcastic pops at Man Utd for having a lot of Asian fans (from Hong Kong, Singapore etc) and that I didn't use any derogative or racist terms. The people who try and make a race row out of nothing are usually the racist ones themselves, pathetic.
Well I'm from Northern Ireland and am well used to the glory hunter, foreigner comments. Ignore it. You know you love United and rival fans know they love their own club. They don't gain points for recruiting more fans (though I'm sure Arsenal have tried)
