Is it just me very irritated by the two goals we’ve conceded this week. Sunderland walking through defence, little attempt to tackle and yesterday two defenders unable to challenge for a ball while Meslier was rooted To the goal line. The great keepers of the past would have come for that ball and left opposition players on the ground while they cleared it up the field. I’m not sure our defence is a whole lot better than last couple of seasons given the huge gap in quality attacking us and that’s with the addition of Rodon who has been excellent
Get a good goalkeeper and a ****ing left footed ****ing left back. Move Spence to right back and jobs a good un.
You’re right, a top keeper would have punched that ball yesterday and taken out forward and his defenders. Also thought he bottled it for the Sunderland goal. That said, we should have scored four.
