Rumours that Burnley have reluctantly accepted a 2 million + bid from us. Apparantly Cotterill missed lunch with the squad because he was busy arranging things. Who knows but somethings happening!! :D

Where did you hear this ?? I found this article in the Mirror:

    http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/tra...aterson-in-2-5million-deal-article766128.html

Would be our best signing of the summer if we got the former S****horpe, Grimsby and current Burnley frontman. £2.5 million though !! <yikes> Him upfront with Varney- and my expectations for this season would rise from mid- table to play- offs, leading on to automatic promotion !! Future Looks Good !!

    PUP <ok>

PFL it was on twitter from the Portsmouth news journos who are with the squad. Cotterill told them we are closing in on 3 signings a versatile defender,a midfielder and a striker

£2million+ is quite a hefty fee in the 2nd tier (isn't it?)
I hope he proves to be value for money

£2 million is a bit too much in my opinion too.... Just feels good to be back in the game though. Things are looking so much better this season!
