Seem to remember an old thread about this but if you could pick your dream CAFC league 1 team now who would it be GKs Elliot 09/10 10/11 start of 11/12 Sullivan end of 10/11 11/12 Randolph 09/10 Hamer 11/12 Worner 10/11 RBs Richardson 09/10 Francis 10/11 Solly 10/11 11/12 Jenkinson 10/11 Omozusi 10/11 Seip 10/11 CBs Daily 09/10 10/11 Doherty 10/11 11/12 Sodje 09/10 Llera 09/10 10/11 Fry 10/11 Fortune 10/11 Morrison 11/12 Taylor 11/12 Cort 11/12 LBs Youga 10/11 11/12 Basey 09/10 Jackson 09/10 10/11 Borrowdale 09/10 Fry 10/11 Bessone 10/11 Jenkinson 10/11 Wiggins 11/12 Evina 11/12 RMs Sam 09/10 Spring 09/10 Wagstaff 09/10 10/11 11/12 Martin 10/11 Ecclestone 10/11 Green 11/12 Haynes 11/12 CMs Semedo 09/10 10/11 Spring 09/10 Racon 09/10 10/11 Bailey 09/10 McCormack 10/11 Parrett 10/11 Stewart 10/11 Hollands 11/12 Stephens 11/12 Hughes 11/12 Pritchard 11/12 Russell 11/12 Alonso 11/12 Shelvey 09/10 Euell 11/12 LMs Bailey 09/10 Reid 09/10 10/11 Martin 10/11 Jackson 10/11 11/12 Wagstaff 09/10 10/11 Racon 10/11 Harriott 10/11 CFs Burton 09/10 Dickson 09/10 McLeod 09/10 Gray 09/10 1 game Tuna 09/10 10/11 McKenzie 09/10 Sodje 09/10 11/12 Forster 09/10 Fleetwood 09/10 Abbott 10/11 Anyinsah 10/11 Benson 10/11 Eccelstone 10/11 BWP 10/11 11/12 Nouble 10/11 Popo 11/12 Hayes 11/12 Haynes 11/12 Euell 11/12 Kermorgant 11/12 Clarke 11/12 My Personal Team Randolph 09/10 Solly 11/12 Morrison 11/12 Taylor 11/12 Wiggins 11/12 Sam 09/10 Bailey 09/10 Hollands 11/12 Harriott 10/11 BWP 11/12 Kermorgant 11/12
Randolph Solly Morrison Taylor Wiggins Sam Shelvey Stephens Jackson Kermorgant BWP Sam shades it over Waggy and then Green because of his sheer brilliance when motivated, not something that PP managed very often but for sheer effort it would be Waggy.
I suppose the reason for that one is that I probably like most of you like talent from our academy given a chance I also like my wingers to be fast and use trickery which Harriott does Also he was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise extremely annoying season
Elliot (first season in league one) Solly (this season) Taylor Morro Wiggins Martin Bailey (championship) Hollands (start of season- holding) JJ BWP Kermo/Burton I think kermo is a better player than button by the way, but I'd be very intrigued by the partnerships
I do agree he looked promising - I was only saying to my dad yesterday that I hope he gets a run once we've sealed the deal.
Randolph Solly Wiggins Morrison Taylor JJ Bailey Hollands (holding) Shelvey (RM - I'm sure he played there at some time) BWP Kermorgant/Burton
Randolph Solly/Richardson (I think Richardson is just the better player but I can't bear to leave Solly out so I'm fudging it). Taylor Morrison Youga Sam Shelvey Bailey (holding) Green Kermorgant BWP Green and Sam taking turns to swap wings. If that sounds too ridiculous I'd have Martin on the left and Sam on the right. I am of course remembering the best of these players and not the worst! Is it worth picking out worst possible 11 for a laugh? Mine would be: Hamer (Current form otherwise Elliott) Omozusi Doherty Fortune (after he was past it, not before) Borrowdale Spring McOxo Alonso (had such high hopes....) Wagstaff (maybe I'm teasing, maybe I'm not!) McClown Nouble We certainly had some strikers to chose from!!!!! Reckon Clarke could be right up there but not seen enough yet.
Great Idea Ybab My worse would be: Hamer 11/12 Hard to choose and im not slating him but on current form Francis 10/11 Doherty 10/11 Fortune 10/11 Borrowdale 09/10 Spring 09/10 McCormack 10/11 Simply awful Stewart 10/11 Simply for using us Racon 10/11 Tuna 10/11 Potential but nothing real was there Nouble 10/11 Nuf Said
Pavel Abbott is the worst player I have ever seen. His 'performance' away at Barnet in the FA Cup was the stuff of nightmares.
I agree he wasn't good but he did score one stormer on a TV game. Think it was the Swindon match that saw PP sacked. I think Nouble and McClown were worse.
