Our club in my opinion have got pre-season wrong. No problem with a game against Parma but not before we take on West Ham. Remember a few seasons back we played a Spanish team all nice possession football. Then we took on the Wimbledon style of Stoke. Now our opening fixture is against Sam Allardyces West Ham. Once again its going to be long balls bombed into the box and a team trying to do damage at set pieces. Not the best preparation. Perhaps we should have played Stoke or some other similar team.
I can see where you're coming from Hilts but I don't agree, It's not the way opposition play that wins us matches it's the way we play. The game against Parma gave us 90 mins to play the way Malkie wants us to play.

True. Having played long ball for years you should be able to cope with another team that does the same. In recent times you've really struggled against those teams that can actually play.
Well there is a betting shop down the road so if you already know the result then fill your boots. On the other hand if your money is still in your pocket its not costing you whatever result you say. Bookies know the worst people for correctly forecasting football results are the fans, thats why the have special coupons to give them a chance to hand their money over.
