Starting off the season Park was playing left side midfield. In the last match, MH plays him right side striker alongside Zamora. Park's work rate is always the same, working hard, floating where he needs to be, but he is not an out-and-out striker. Granted, he is a versatile player, and when asked, he'll do the work of the place he's put. Then MH puts Granero on the right! Tarbs on the left. SWP is inside right of Granero! It's fairly obvious that Park was asked to cover more ground than usual, also trying to supply balls to Zam and to try to disrupt early balls up front from WBA. But to criticize Park for the tireless work he put in, out of position, is completely out of order. We need to question why MH put out this twisted 4-4-2 in the last match, if he wants us to believe that it was a 4-4-2.
I would suggest this OP is hoping to wind people up again We did not play 4-4-2 and Park played like he was at the park
Park is not very good at LW or CM and we have hardly seen him in his correct position. RW. I reserve judgement until I see him play at least 5 games there.
Not convinced by Park, Hyuna would have been a better signing:
I'm normally a glass half full kinda bloke, but I can't agree with the op on this one. If you watch Park in the two opening goals against W.Ham and W.Brom you will see him for what he is......!!??!! Within five minutes of both games we lost possesion on our left. The ball breaks to the opposition and on both occasions Park barely breaks into a jog to get back and help out Hill who was left totally exposed. The bloke was very poor, and to have that lack of commitment from the off in two consecutive matches is unacceptable.
Special dedication to TF:

Click on "Formation" on the right: http://www.sportinglife.com/footbal...28/west-bromwich-albion-v-queens-park-rangers I'm not winding you up, this is how MH put out the side.
It wasn't Park's job to cover the left back midfield. Tarbs got ran over and they put a cross in for the first goal. End of story. http://www.sportinglife.com/footbal...28/west-bromwich-albion-v-queens-park-rangers
I couldn't give a toss how some lazy journo set it out. I was there and he was in midfield, trying to play alongside Granero and ahead of M'bia but piss poor and a help to neither. In that very article there's a picture of Park in our penalty area when Cesar made that excellent save.
It was 4-5-1 with variations etc etc. Park was not played as a striker. I've watched him in every home game so far along the touchline by Ellerslie and he's been so far off the pace it's unbelievable.
Park has been played out of position all the time, so I can't really comment until I see him on the Right a couple of times. It's like having a go at Hill playing LB, it's not his fault he can't play that position any more but he does try while his out there.
Well I think I said this too many times, but first games he did seem to try hard but was totally inneffective as an attacking threat which playing wide he needed to be - in fact promising moves stopped up if the ball went to him. Last games as others have said he's been p*ss poor also defensively, 999's has it dead right for me. He's been so bad I cannot see any evidence he'll be any where near good enough in any position in the 11. Apart from Green for me he is our definite worse player this season, Green got dropped correctly, I fail to understand what Park is doing getting near our stat 11, other than it must be Commercial reasons - which for me is totally unacceptable.
Yappy I incorrectly thought you were having a wind up. This thread is very good. Park is IMO a outstanding footballer and is taking time, the bloody team are taking time. These calls for him to be dropped are crazy. I have only seen him once live this season. As with SWP I don't agree other views that because they haven't scored etc. They are working hard in what will become a good team by that i mean the team grows has a system and player come in and out of it but the side remains powerful. Take a average Man Utd player on his own ... worth X in the current market maybe he would fit into another side who knows ... but at United , in United he is judged world class. This is what MH and his team is building on a smaller scale and people don't get it. They want Park to do what they remember he did for United but for us and they want it now. SWP is in the team for that reason also. Off the pace i read .. the pace of what .. show me a game that has the right pace. Each game evolves and its up to the best team to adapt to that. Good players read the game and Park has my vote. No mentions of the games where he has been one of the best players out there ... he was when i saw him OK Walsall I hear you say ... A game of football is a game of football and Park has to be on the team sheet for me ... OK against Everton I would love to see him on Baines as Park does these jobs well IMO ... Put it this way we used to have Barton doing a bloody awful job for us and loads on here bloody loved him ... Northolt for one idolised him and DJ Campbell ... lets take stock of who now plays for QPR
stinks of a purely merchandising signing to me but to be fair he is not a wide player,he is either a holding or central mid and should only fill those positions.as far as a captain my view is a resounding no.
