If they are failing to contest any appeals due to staff shortages, what else is the Council not doing? Local Councils are on their knees, drowning in debt after being cut loose to do whatever they wanted several years ago. A damning indictment of local government. It seems many of these councillors don't have the first idea what they are doing. Long term incompetence eventually comes back to bite. And it's council tax payers who will suffer.
