Going to the Bolton game at the week-end and driving to Liverpool. Is there a good secure car park not too far from Anfield?I have always gone by train before but late kick off and finish with a long trip home means I have to drive. I am really looking forward to a good game and a Liverpool win.
Only joking! I normally park near the asda on Utting Avenue/Queens Drive. It's a bit of a trek from Anfield but would save you some money
To be fair mate there are plenty of places, just look around and get a feeling of where you feel comfortable parking
I have always parked at st margarets school which is about 10 mins walk to the ground. There's plenty of road parking there if you're early an you can park securely in the school grounds for 6 quid for the whole day. Plus it's easy to get out of with all the traffic after the game as its near the main road
Streetkids "hey mister d'ya want us to mind yer car while your watching the Liverpool game, only £5? Visting supporter "no thanks kid,my pet rottweiler is on the back seat" Steetkids "can your f***ing rottweiler put fires out?" <run>
Well you can park in vernon sangster, just the other side of Anfield Road. Across the road from that is the Liverpool Academy, I'm not sure they still offer parking, but they did, then a bit further away, there is Four Oaks primary school, at the end of Walton Breck Road, and further away again is Sports and Community centre on Lower Breck Road. All paid for, all manned. But don't believe the press, your car will be quite safe on the road, if you can find a spot, it's not as if gangs wander the are while the match is on, looking for cars to knock off. Just don't leave stuff on show, and don't leave it down towards Walton with a Liverpool flag on show.
