Next to the ground there’s a massive complex like Argos, B&Q etc just whack it in there and if you can’t then about half a mile in the direction of town centre there is another complex car park…they should be good enough. There’s a road directly behind the complex, it’s the red light district….called Alder street. loads park there too. All about 10 minute walk from ground. Thanks to local lad @Lovearsenalcock for the advice.
Spot on. Thats where I parked last season when I went down. Not going this season as I’m working until 8 (well, realistically 7:45 as I’m watching the match!!) but this is great advice
Fair play to anyone going down. I’m sure their partners will be over the moon that they’re choosing to spend that day with Sunderland football club…
Ffs the wife was expecting a fancy meal. No chance of that with the lads on. Will have to wait until the following day
In my case it will also be 2 years to the date since my major heart operation (valve replacement and bypass) but I have bought one of them romantic meals from Morrisons, which we will have tomorrow night (not sure when she will fit in my pancakes ).
No ticket so not going, just been told my other half doesnt want to be with me anymore, so she can **** off also. But will be watching the match
It’s 17 years to the day that we got engaged (been married 16 gone December)! Think she’s pissed that I’m working late … wait until she realises SAFC are on too!!
30th wedding anniversary today. Got her a nice bunch of flowers and will put her on dialysis when I'm in from work. Romance eh.
Luckily we don’t bother with Valentines it’s a school age thing as far as I’m concerned. I’m the gaffer in our house and will turn the tele over straight after double Corrie, no matter what she says.
