Our improved bid was accepted days ago, this looks like another let-down in the making like the Hooper deal...

Oh the price we are paying for being in the second tier!

If we had finished 17th last year, and with Harry at the helm, we would have a very comfortable squad by now.

Then again, we said that last year......!!

Surely the pull of working with Harold again will swing it for us?

(I need to find a tongue in cheek smiley somewhere)

I just get the feeling we're going to be subjected to another mental deadline day that could leave us with a few serious gaps in the squad. Creativity is the big worry at present...

He will keep us hanging on waiting for an offer from a Premiership club. Can't blame him. Should we set him a deadline to force the issue or sit and wait?

Parker will have to decide because we have a chance of wining as Harold said and send a direct message to more people than Parker ... Fulham could struggle as this daft game all talks about final positions and Norwich came 11th ... Swansea won a cup and finished only 10 points from going down ...

Fulham, Sunderland, Norwich and Stoke even West Ham looked very weak last year IMO ... of course Reading and us were already down and beaten but at the end Wigan looked a far better side than Fulham. The teams mentioned scraped home ... Would Parker want that? and what is the attraction

take away three wins and a draw and the excellent Swans would have been sweating ... it's that close and it could be another lottery this year

got to love harry, saying going to ffc would have no chance of top 6, agree with that, then saying going to ffc will be going into a relegation scrap, quite possibly true, but going into the championship and saying goodbye to his slim chance of going to the world cup, did he mention that. I still believe parker will go to the bush, harry has sold a good sell. he is starting to get on my nerves,

We should say fine, the deal is on the table and it won't be improved, but we are still looking and if we find someone before you make up your mind, bad luck.

The assumption is of course that we can offload Mbia and Diakite. But if Faurlin, Jenas, Henry, O'Neil and probably half a dozen others stay we have lots of numbers in CM. Parker would add quality, which is what we need.

At the moment only Faurlin and Barton can actually pass the ball in this team, and Barton only sometimes.

but wasn't parker in a relegation scrap with west ham, and when they went down he went to spurs, the prem has 10 clubs who are about the same, ffc were crap after we reached 40 points. so half of the division are in danger of going down, who would of thought rangers would go down last august

    Only starting FT????

I believe that the lure of PL football will swing it Fulhams' way, not sure he really has much chance of getting in World Cup squad but a final couple of years at the top level will appeal to him......

Mind he does have the opportunity to get involved with the R's project!!!!!!

you love a project, you have had the 4 year project, I enjoyed watching that. you could always change your name to queens project rangers, no seriously parker agent will probably see what offers he gets in, from a ffc point if view, I wont be happy if we get him, or upset if we don't. it may prolong his career if he goes rangers and get a longer deal, he is not one of our A list of players we want i.m.o. but will parker still think he has a chance for the world cup? if he wants that, then he would choose a prem club, realistically he wont go to the world cup if playing in the championship, he does not need the money,

parker is backed to odds on to join rangers, ffc pushed out, as ffc do there business very quietly and don't comment until the player has signed, we don't even know that ffc are in for parker, they probably are, but if we don't get a player we don't look stupid after the event

We used to do our business like that until Redknapp joined - no comment from any club officials until deals completed. I liked it like that.

The premier league as i have been barking on about for 2/3 years is in fact three leagues within a league

Anyone team from 9 could slip this year IMO

FT see you have picked up Derren Bent on a season loan, decent bit of business, will score goals for you, just as long as he doesn't get the hump with Adel & Berb hogging the ball all the time.....
