Does anyone think that instead of trying to buy a big name player, we should maybe look at loaning one and seeing whether or not the fancey moving permanently at a later stage? So, initialoutlay very low, but wages significantly above our wage cap! Is this an option and should TP going for the festive midfield engine of Parker?
I would certainly ask West Ham, if I was T.P. Would be worth it but it would depend on how much West Ham and Parker wanted. I wouldn''t want us to break the bank, and damage team morale just for one player, even Scott Parker.
As a player Scott Parker would fit into anybody`s team but can you imagine the turmoil in the dressing room if as a temporary player he was on £20-30000 a week more than anyone else? It just wouldn`t work, anyway it won`t happen because as you can see TP and Coates won`t break the wage barrier for anyone (see Sgt`s post re-Cole) and that`s why we lose out on so many players that would be an asset to our squad frustrating isn`t it!!
