Sorry I didn't have time for the usual stats. What do you think we should/will do tonight? Park the bus and hope for a 0-0 or risk losing a point and taking another dent in our goal-difference chasing 3?
I've already written this of as a nil point game so might as well go for it. Devera 0-1 is worth a look at 240/1 on sky bet............ Last time I saw odds like that for one of our centre backs was chelsea away on the fa cup. Puts things into perspective.
Sorry it's a bit belated, but not long in. Our side tonight is....... Portsmouth 40 Carson 15 Alfei 17 Shorey 36 Whatmough 03 N'Gala 05 Devera 19 Fogden 29 Diagouraga 23 Agyemang 35 Wallace 11 Holmes Substitutes 01 Smith 06 Bradley 14 Painter 20 Taylor 28 Drennan 32 Jervis 33 McCabe As meowth has said, we are 1-0 down, with a goal for Rochdale from Lund. Sounds like they are putting pressure on young Daniel Alfei at right back.
Second half kicks off. Big Pat fouled - free kick to us. Rochdale break away, and Donnelly almost scores.
Oh dear !! 2-0 down - bad defending by us. How can we go from an attempt on goal from Wes Fogden, to the ball going up the other end, for them to score ?..........
Ryan Taylor on for Joe Devera, with Jack Watmough moving to centre back. Rather see Drennan on, although Taylor has gone close already.
Steve Claridge was interviewed at HT. He made some very good points. I was quite motivated by him - pity he couldn't do the half time talk
Where's the bus dev was talking about earlier ? Some of our players are already sitting in it..........
They look totally shot of confidence now according to everyone there. Agyemang has drifted out of the game completely now. Northampton have pulled a goal back - we could be in the bottom 2 tonight. Fans still trying to lift the team with the Chimes.
Northampton have just scored. They lead AFC Wimbledon 2-1, so we are now joint second bottom with a -17 goal difference
Wes Fogden one on one with the goalie.................and he puts it over the bar. Why on earth hasn't RB brought on Michael Drennan for Agyemang (is he still on the pitch ?)
Our new hero - Sammy Moore of AFC Wimbledon - scores against The Cobblers in the 95th. minute. What a player
