News from the BBC Park out injured for possibly 4 weeks. Bloody Asian cup. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/9397993.stm
I also saw on the physioroom website that Hargreaves is listed as having a knee problem again, although this has not be echoed by the club or website. Much like the 'where were you when' conversations that people often have, United fans could have a 'at one point did you lose faith with Hargo's recovery' conversation. I am most definitely reaching that point
It probably is a knee problem still tbh. There is no way a hamstring injury could keep anybody out for as long a sit's been since that Wolves game at Old Trafford. He probably won't be offered a new contract come the end of the season and that would be the only logical action to take right now tbh. He hasn't done enough to even earn a pay as you play deal imo. Harsh? Maybe - but also definitely true.
I lost faith in Hargo's return at the start of December. When the four week deadline for his hamstring injury passed with no real updates on his condition. That can only mean bad news and they have no idea when he'll return. Every few weeks we seem to get another 'on the road to recovery' announcement but then nothing. He's in the 25 man squad, but I think that's partly cos we've so many academy products in the squad that we can afford to have him in, in the hope he may recover. It's such a shame - he could have been an awesome player for us, and could have made the difference against Barca in Rome and over the course of last season in general.
Don't type the 2 words 'bloody' and 'Asian' next to each other! You'll have nolhman on here declaring jihad.
The game against Barca in Rome was the sort of game he was bought for. Missing Fletcher too just added insult to injury.
There is no way the Barca midfield would have danced around us with impunity if Hargo and Fletch had been playing. I'm not saying we'd have won, but it wouldn't have been such a non-contest.
