At least according to the Daily Fail so i assume he is not. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2316841/EXCLUSIVE-Queens-Park-Rangers-midfielder-Park-Ji-sung-wanted-MLS-clubs.html
Apparently wanted by MLS chiefs to break into the lucrative Asian market.... Surely the MLS should focus on breaking into the American market first??? Anyway - we are Midfield heavy, his legs have gone and it would be £70K a week saved, so hope for once there is some truth in the article. Still cant believe we paid a £2M transfer fee for him though.
When we got him from Utd everybody thought that he was a great buy and that QPR would do well this term how wrong
Not me mate. Thought he was a good for marketing for us in the far East, full stop. Fergusen saw us coming, he was well past his best before he left them.
He looked completely all over the place from his debut onwards. It did make you wonder if the players around him at Old Trafford had been propping him up. Bit of a headless chicken at times.
I still believe we've been given his identical twin who has never played the game & the real Park is back in his native with his feet up pissing himself!
Not me fella as I have never rated him even at Utd thought he was only useful as Oslo says as a marketing tool, tool being the operative word!
Fergie knows a thing or two though to be fair and he rated him.[/QUOTE] That's a fair point and nobody would question AFs knowledge of football or players. However, he is close to the top of a list of players that we have signed who may have excelled at other clubs but were way past their best when we got them. Park has been sh••e for us and has not given value for money.
I'm sure Fergie rated him earlier when he was quicker and sharper, but as you say he knows a thing or two, and one was that Park had lost his zip and needed moving on. Us with our Asian owners looking to market out there, fell for it.
But that is because I think we all think he is trying, he is not shirking at all Different to Boswinga, who doesn't care.... Park cares, He wants to help us, he wants to play well...and he can't. that is why he is disappointing....Because if he was able to, he would have been a great signing.
