Excellent. This is a big step forward and surely represents the so called marquee (don't like that word in this context, sounds all wrong) signing we have been waiting for. Loads of excitement and bigging the club up and a bit of humour about SAF not knowing that park had gone! I really hope this will not be the last higher profile player that comes in this year.

WELL DONE, Tony,Amit and The Board. Fantastic times ahead for QPR. Roll on 18th August.

All a bit of an anti climax as we all knew 4 days ago, yes I know it wasn't official, but we do seem to take a long time in preparing to announce things so that they get leaked before the club gets the chance.

But none the less Park is a great signing, probably the highest profile signing in our history as all our legends made their name with us. But long may this trend of ever increasing quality of player continue.

Not only is he a high profile signing but he's a player who won't come in and be a lazy fuk. He'll show the others how to put a bit of elbow grease in.

Interesting inclusion from Marquee Hughes & Co.

Can see Park doing well for us and enjoying life at LR.

Thought the announcement was a but of a let down considering all the hype. Plus it was announced on BBC a few days ago. Good player but still struggling to see how a 30+ year old bench player will make us a global brand?! In TF we trust.

Due to the beauty of the internet we have all become privy to infomation in an instant. For our poor old club however, there is still a due process. Medical, contracts, image rights etc. So now we the punter are ahead of the game. Back in the day we would of have to awaited this info in the press, and then of had no platform to express our opinions on.
Times have changed. The club that we love can only do what it can. Difficult times for exclusives to be unveiled.

It's still all good as far as we're concerned though. Onwards and upwards...URssss.

interesting to note that Man U did not want to sell at all and it was Park who pushed for the transfer.

He turned down a Russian club, a German club and 2 other London clubs but chose us as were a team of the future.
