Park Ji-sung Tipped as the Man to Improve QPR's Fortunes
Park Ji-sung The Daily Mail, a leading British tabloid, predicted that Queens Park Rangers will finish 13th out of 20 teams in the English Premier League this season, while also naming midfielder Park Ji-sung as the team's "key man."

"[He] is the most widely praised acquisition -- his time at Manchester United has taught him more than a few things, and his work-rate is super," the paper wrote. It forecast that, with Park's help, the club will move higher up the league and escape a relegation dogfight like the one it saw last season, when it ended 17th. The bottom three teams in the league get demoted each season.

Park moved to QPR last month after playing for Manchester United for seven seasons. He will officially debut as a Super Hoop on Saturday in the season-opening game against Swansea.

Even though Park often played on the right wing for United, he is expected to serve the role of central midfielder for his new team, which now has winger David Hoilett from Blackburn on its books but lacks experienced players who can take charge of the midfield.

Park started in this position when he donned the captain's armband for a match in Malaysia on July 17 during the team's Asian tour and led QPR to a resounding 5-0 victory. "I haven't heard anything about which position I'll be playing. I'm focusing on getting into top form prior to the season opener," he said.
