After last nights decent performance and good result ( with 3 very good goals) we now have parity with everyone in the league. And although we are still at the wrong end of the table things look a little brighter a few weeks ago and we have something to build on. What does parity bring ? Well it gives you a better indication of where you measure up against other teams, and I am sorry for doing this but over the last few weeks the amount of stick I have took from the great unwashed that I work with it is time for a bit of balance. Current form ( 6 games is about the norm ) 2 wins 1 draw 3 defeats for ourselves , our neighbours 1 win ,5 defeats. Remember the jokes about shots on target and Ba being second top scorer well there is 1 goal in it with our neighbours being 1 goal ahead, and as for the defence ( remember they have the great Colloccini in it ) we have ,as we did last season a better defence we have conceded 2 less . So as you can see nothing realy in it and I know this is only a side event to the main challenge but I had to say it. We both have very tricky games over the next few weeks but I do fancy ours more than theirs ( whats the betting that old saggy chops gets their first win at SJP) and I am not going to go down the road of Ba leaving in the TX window, I mean how do you replace a guy who has scored 60% of your teams goals.

I have said a hundred times that there isnt a *** paper between the 2 teams and league positions/stats after 16 games would bear that up perfectly.

Whether that is still the case on February 1st 2013 will be a good debating point and I think both clubs will be both transfer spenders AND sellers. The who, what and where is the big debate of course.
