Tbh I wouldnt have played either one. We could have played our normal defence and midfield in a 4-4-2 but PArdew has been sucked into playng Stokes game, after expressly saying he wouldnt do that. We've known for some time how bad Campbell is, I dont know why he isnt just emergency back up.

Pardew is not all to blame though, the team he named was strong enough to have gotten a point today.

Honestly, Pardrew is starting to get on my tits, he always makes excuses when we lose, ahh we got so many players injured etc, well what confidence does that give to the players who are playing instead of the ones injured? On a positive note Ferguson looks quality, think he would be better at left wing than left back though.

Agree about Ferguson (that he might be better on the wing), he was actually caught right out for the first goal way up the pitch, but we're playing two young full backs who dont fully understand the role of a wing back in this system, there's always going to be positional errors.

Also Ferguson beats people so naturally he could definitely be a winger <ok>

I do have one criticism on Pardew though, he said he would pick the team on thursday and then no one would be rushed back into the side too early (and said that Enrique wouldnt play unless 100%), then Enrique has clearly only just passed a fitness test this morning and plays without even having trained. He has flat out lied there and risked losing Enrique for a prolonged period (injury didnt look too bad though thankfully).

Pardew should never be near managing a club like NUFC but lets be honest who else of any quality would be prepared to work for that arsehole Ashley??

I think whoever was managing we were always going to hit a run of poor form - and we've hit it now. As a newly promoted team with a squad stretched by injuries it was inevitable it would happen at some point. I still think we'll get the points to stay up. Out of these home games, Wolves, Birmingham and West Brom, 6 points will in all liklihood keep us up. Any points from other games is a bonus.

Decent post. We haven't really had a prolonged slump of form this season, there have been a couple of shocking performances but the squad's always bounced back for the next one. We were due a couple of defeats on the trot but I've still got faith that we'll get more than 6 points in this run in. Us as fans don't want to see us playing in the Championship next season, and you can bet the players don't want to either!!

5-3-2 at Stoke, shows the guys lack of tactical knowledge, though having said that I saw the half time report and thought we'd come back and get at least a draw.
