Would he have behaved like that if Keane was manager? I can see MON being scary in a strict school teacher way but would anyone with half a brain behave like that to Roy?

Pardew is a cockney bell end. He has form for early success as a manager, quickly followed by failure. His time is running out and he knows it. Next season, expectation will be massive and he is already showing signs he can't handle it now.

He has no experience of long term success and is obviously feeling the strain. If they finish anything below 7th now then instead of a good season, it will be perceived as a disappointing one. They have now 2 points from 2 home games and 1 away, with a thrashing at spurs thrown in.

We on the otherhand have no such expectations and eternal game from Mon appointment has been a bonus. We still have an FA Cup quarter final to look forward to as well.

Most importantly, we have a manager that can handle pressure and has won trophies. I look forward to my future with Mon.

If you ask a proper mag, they will tell you they don't have the same confidence in their man long term.

The first cracks appeared on Sunday in Pardews armour. Maybe if should revert to norm and show his slimy, back-stabbing character and just shag one of the players wives and be done with it now.

Been saying this for a while now (apart from the shagging players' wives bit) and I fully expect him to hit the wall reasonably soon. We were there for the taking after the WBA game and they couldn't do it. As for the Wolves result, look what Fulham just did to them and the mags were two up in about half an hour. Not shaping up too well. I suspect they're also embarrassed by Tiote, being their big hero. Bloody should be too - if Cattermole did that I'd have trouble looking mag mates in the eye...

In all honesty, no, he wouldn't have done that with Roy Keane stood on your sidelines. Mainly because he'd have had his head kicked into row Z.

I don't think he's a bad manager, there's far worse in this division for sure. He must have something about him though since he clicked his fingers at half time, worked a bit of magic via a substitution and they came out and made MoN look like he was taking his first game in charge of a pub side.

You've got yourselves a decent manager who'll consistently give you top 10 finishes but, like I've told you lot about 100 times he'll head for the hills without a budget. He ran up a £150m (approx) bill at Villa all to throw in the towel mid-way into their European campaign. Top 5 finishes can be achieved on budgets of £whateveryouwant especially when Man City were in the Shinawatra era. I think you should enjoy it whilst you are in your honeymoon period but it's got sour ending written all over it from where I'm sat watching.

    Pardew is a lying slag.
Let him talk of pushing for the Champions league...Mind he's gone a bit dumb on that lately.
He knows he's only got one season before a real MON team walks all over him.

The lad is doing a cracking job. 6th place, 11 games to go when you all thought we'd be relegated, no wonder you hate him. Roy Keane isn't your manager anymore so I'm going to say yes he'd have done exactly that. You have no way to disprove it afterall. ;)

Who thought you'd be relegated then?
I have to admit at the start of the season I didn't think you'd make Europe....And I still don't.
2 points from three games including two at home...Hardly setting the world alight are you. On the plus side though, at least you don't have to worry about the cup.

You know you're an idiot when a manager leads a team tipped for relegation to favourites for a European place, and you still find a way to claim his time is running out <doh> So **** if he had a go at O'Neill, he got caught up in the passion and I'm proud of that. O'Neill was no saint either.
Oh and also, anything in the top 10 will be a shame but no one will see it as a disppointing season <ok>

Any number of Mackems were on our boards telling us we were going to be relegated.

Depend on the cups. I expect either Chelsea, Liverpool or Spurs to win the FA Cup. Obviously you have to respect Everton, and even yourselves (and the others) at this stage but it would need some stellar performances strung together along with some underperformance from those mentioned. Obviously if it is Chelsea or Spurs you'd have to think we are in with a great shout of Europe. But there is a long way to go and though I'd be disappointed to finish below 7th, you only get what you deserve after 38 games. Now if we dropped out of the top 10 I have to admit I'd be gutted. Obviously not being in the cup is a bonus at this stage.

To be honest I'm not sure Europe would do us much good, we're quite a small squad still and I could see it having a similar impact it has on Fulham and Stoke. If we finish 7th and don't get Europe I certainly will not be disappointed. We're not in great form at present. We are playing in patches and when we do play well, we tend to look the side we have elsewhere in the season and a bit more. But we throw some bad 45's at present. We should really have had 6 points from the last two games but have contrived to throw them away by just not imposing ourselves on the opposition for 45mins.

Speculating again Cest? Fortunately I'm yet to see one of your speculatory thoughts actually come to fruition so as always my mind is at ease with this one.
