Speaks volumes for the calibre of personnel we have. Like you say, should have been at the game.

At this point of the season in this current situation is it REALLY necessary to go blow this out of proportion and make an internal problem, if it is even that, public??? Just let it go Pardew this one time.

If neither are fit they dont have to be at the game (although I dont see why they wouldnt go) but it's not like we launched an investigation every time Carroll went out on the town did we? Agree with Toon126, dont blow it out of proportion.

While I believe they are nothing but a bunch of twatbags, if they are not likely to be in the team the following day then what difference does it make if they go out? I am sure a lot of us have nights out the night before a workday!!!

at the end of the day footballers or not they are allowed to be normal, jesus christ.

pardew has made this worse, by saying **** like "we will investigate it" telling the media what they want to hear just grow some balls and say "they are allowed to enjoy themselves"

wasnt it fergie a few seasons back laughed at photos of rooney and giggs saying the same thing "they are normal peoeple"

Exactly, they are human and Pardew goes out in town sometimes, he's often spotted out. Whats the difference between this and Best and Ireland going to a nightclub? OK you want them to care about the team a bit more and watch the game, but they dont have to, and there was no such investigations when Carroll went out beating the **** out of people and generally making an arse of himself and the club in the Bigg market.

Wasn't Pardew seen walking into a girls toilets by mistake one Friday night not so long ago? Jesus Pardew they're both injured, Mike Ashley owns the club and I'm sure he wasn't at the Britannia so what harm if 2 employees don't make the few hours travel just to sit on the bench and watch???? Twat concentrate on the problems ON the pitch and don't try cause a smokescreen to distract us from yesterdays piss poor performance

Sh!t stirring journos as usual - what evidence is there it's even a recent picture but a one off file
strategically aired to maximum effect? So every other fit or injured footie player is in bed (even
if it is someone else's) before 9:00pm every night?

I dont get what the problem is.

If you found out you'd be off work tommorow and could go out on the night, im sure people who enjoy going out would go.

Pardew needs to take a leaf out of Hughton's book here and start keeping certain things in house! On one hand they're just young lads, on the other, they're professionals with huge public status - going out the night before a game isn't exactly the greatest idea in the world, but I'm in no position to judge!

If they're injured then I don't see a problem with it.
