    Top quality signing.

Real statement of intent from Crystal Palace, they're doing the right thing adding quality and experience, for £10m that's a steal.

Absolutely - he is a top level player in every sense - dirty bastard mind but still a quality player!

£10m is nothing for him - just goes to show the lure of London doesn;t it - he's a player I would LOVE to have in a red and white shirt (stuff his Newcastle background he is simply a top quality player!) - in recent history terms we are a bigger side than palace (and over football history too) yet we cvan't attract this sort of player up here without paying them £100+k a week!

I ****ing hate pardew too BTW - just thought I'd throw that in there!

This is a great signing for Palace. I think he'd get into Everton & Spurs' midfield so for these to bag him is a real coup.

He's still a dirty mag twat though :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think he'd get into United and arsenal too! Just my opinion but I truly think he's that good

Dunno about United - think he's a similar type to Herrera who I think is a wonderful player.

Arsenal yes - think he's better that the overrated Wilshere - though age isn't on his side in comparison.

The grass isn't always greener Mr Kebab! Good player but was never PSG level. The best PL club he would ever get regular games at is Liverpool.

I wish him well back in the PL though. Just not against us. Don't think he'd get an amazing reception after his antics over trying to leave us though.

He'd get into our side for a lot of games, he just doesn't have the discipline of Carrick. I'd say he's gone to Palace because he's guaranteed to start every game there, he's automatically their best player by a long shot.

I wouldn't have complained one bit if we signed him now, or from Newcastle, but I'd hope we'd be looking for that next level. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, he's not Toni Kroos but he's very, very good.

As you,ve said absolutely top signing, why weren,t we in with a sniff though? Think most of the unwashed,s probs came when the fat director sold him on, profit before perfrormance

Top, top signing this, and a snip for that, he's worth more like £15million, assuming PSG wanted his wages a goner.

Really don't understand why spurs, Liverpool or Everton weren't interested.

Fitting really that palace got him in similar fashion to Newcastle. Maybe he just needs to be the big fish in a small pond.

There's some bargains going mind in cm. Cabaye £10 million, nzonzi £7. Be typical of us to make a Roswell mark 2 signing.

And they are after Austin. Palace, WHU and Stoke mean business, so who will be our biggest signing ? Downing or Townsend or hopefully both or Austin and Downing and I will be very happy. I believe Dick has £32 m left to spend, so a striker is top priority anyone for Van persie ?

It's like the voice of unreason, I imagine he's like a window fitter or something and just turns up with an axe and a set of ladders, smashes **** out of everything then waits with his hand out for payment.

Lost the plot, but completely harmless so it's hilarious.

Don't rate Nzonzi! Must just be me but he reminds me of Carlton Palmer! Not next level for us IMO!

Cabaye on the other hand is phenomenal! Next level for all outside the top 4. Although he's not as good as Raheem Sterling so no good for Liverpool.....
