Nice words from AP. He is never less than fair. I remember when we got him as manager and was excited because he was perfect to turn Saints around. And he did. He certainly got the ball rolling and gave Saints a wonderful day at Wembley.

Pardew has always spoken well of us. On our promotion to the PL, he said he knew we would always do well. He also said a while ago that there had never been any nastiness with Nicola, it just wasn't working out. I never seriously thought that Newcastle would go down, especially with the new players that came in.
