Pardew on Sky......

.....We've just been edged out by a full-strength Liverpool side in a 6 goal thriller. Suarez, to be honest, was like a ghost out there. We never picked him up and I tried all week in training to tell the guys to watch out for him. We needed a cavalry charge but the horses were reluctant.

I blame the fact that our French contingent need to gel after just coming to us in the last 8 months. Perhaps the game v Benfica 3 weeks ago has made us all very tired.

There has not been many class French players in the premier league, but for a certain Theiry henry. I thought they would be found out eventually, Pardew has a bigger job than P O D in the summer he should give them( 6 ) days off next week!.
