He said he was disappointed with the ref's decision but pleased with the performance, felt if we'd scored in the 2nd half we might have gone on to win. he thanked the fans for clapping despite a 3-0 defeat and reminded the two hosts that the last 2 goals were scored when we had no cbs on the pitch (the consesus was that 'perchy' is a full back)

he was full of praise for Krul, said at first people thought he was too laid/cocky back but now everyone loves him and feeds off him for confidence said he's sensational and will only get better.

demba ba's been awesome for him and could have easily carried the number 9 but he was worried we might not want a freebie as number 9

coloccini is a leader in the dressing room and always saying the team needs a dayoff <laugh>. the worry for me was that he seemed to indicate that he might be stalling/having his head turned. he said that sometimes players think things are greener on the other side but actually aren't and that he hopes colo realised how much we love him and hopes he signs too.

taylor he said is probably out for the season but won't know for sure till monday. he met capello on wednesday and said how about steven taylor he's playing well to which capello replied i'm fine in midfield thanks!!!!!

hoping only to bring players in in Jan but conceded you never know with mike. that said he said mike's loving the football and getting more and more excited which seemed positive.

gonna rewind to see if i missed anything.

edit he said don't rule us out of the top 6 race, we've played well against top teams recently without key players

he also talked about cabaye, saying his first touch is brilliant and england need to watch out in euro 2012 as he's in the frenc team ahead of nasri and people shouldn't be surprised that he's been so successful

BIG EDIT-something i missed first time. He hinted, re january, that after saylors injury if he's out for the season CB becomes the new priority whereas it wasn't top priority before!

What concerned me was when he said their transfer focus might have to change after what happened to Taylor. Seeing as he already implied he sees Perch as a full back and doesn't seem to rate Kadar that would leave us with three centre backs. His wording of the situation suggested to me they have not been looking for a centre back this January window. I liked how he essentially put Mike on the spot with his comment about only wanting players in. Basically if any big players depart Mike carries the can. A further point is his comments on referees and linesmen. similar to Fergusons, (though less spiteful) lets see if pardew gets a reprimand.

That sums up Capello and his god awful reign! Steven Taylor is one of the most capped U21s and an ex-captain, he's a starting CB for a club who've spent much of the season in the top 5 and has consistently been named in the team of the week for various different magazines and websites...I can't wait till Capello ****s off!

Well said Alan, however about us i the top! well I'm sorry but if we have no Tiote it seems we can't tacjke at all in midfield, we have James Perch as CB for the rest of the season and Colo is out for 1 or 2 weeks. Basically were ****ed on that score. We have to aim for 40 points and then see where we are. This is only opening us up for deluded insults when we to a smaller club. If Ashley can bought a defender like we new we needed we would have been laughing.

Capello should be sacked for incompetence. He is paid millions a year and he is unaware of arguably the most inform English CB who is also playing in a defence that for most of the season has been the best defence in the league which three of the back four are English. <doh> ****ing moron.

Pardew did say it was only a joke about Capello saying he was alright for midfielders. Think it was a case of a friend of pardew's friend mentioned Taylor to Capello who said he was aware of his form. Still think Capello failed his job in not including him for the recent friendlies, after all a large part of friendlies is to see players who are on the fringes, hence the seven substitutes thing.
