    It appears that Alan Pardew is pulling out all the stops to keep Enrique.

    Personally I think Pardew should get Cabaye on it, how could Enrique resist?

    One smile from Cabaye and his heart will melt, only problem is he'l then pass to no one but Cabaye and the Jonas Jose combination down the left will be gone.

    I think he might get him to stay. Call me optimistic but i think this will be our best bit of news of the transfer window/season.

    When i hear someone is trying their best to keep a player i just think that it means any inevitable transfer is delayed until the last minute aka deadline day where nothing more can be done and the player moves on resulting in a panic buy or nobody at all to replace. imo he clearly wants to leave.. lets not try to drag this out too long and end up shooting ourselves in the foot :(

    Are you suggesting maybe it's because Pardew keeps looking at Jose and smiling,
    that's the reason the Spaniard wants to leave asap - it's not a footballing motive!?
