I think that Newcastle would be bonkers to go for Bruce to be honest. De Boer seems to be the best option, assuming then can prise him from Ajax's clutches.
newcastle won't be going for bruce, what on earth are you talking about it's so nice you're supportive of pearson though, remember not so long ago, you were slating him to **** on not606 and pretty much wanted him sacked
Stranger things have happened! Apparently DeBoer is staying at Ajax until the end of the season, so that'd probably rule him out too. I think Newcastle might have a go at getting Big Sam back, working wonders at West Ham this year.
Absolutely, when we went on something like one win in 14 games in the Championship. I though he couldn't do it. But he proved me wrong and, for that, I am grateful.
They'd have no chance. They've not go the pulling power that they had 8-10 years ago and Sam failed miserably in the north. He wouldn't leave and nor would West Ham let him.
Wouldn't have thought Newcastle (well, the Geordies themselves wanted him to piss off) would have Pardew leave so soon into his EIGHT year contract. Football is a strange business!
£5 million odd apparently. Seems stupid money for me, Pardew's nothing special - bit of a nutter (pardon the pun).
It's interesting where this leaves Pulis. It looks in all certainty that Pardew is going to Palace and Pulis isnt a "Newcastle manager", nor do I see him at West Brom. Is he basically hanging around waiting to see if Bruce is sacked? I wonder if Newcastle might give Shearer another go in better circumstances ie he can actually manage not in adversity this time.
The Newcastle fans believe Ashley is doing a deal with Collocini to become manager. Sound kinda right for Mike Ashley.
Newcastle probably only need about another 10 or so points this season to ensure PL football next season. Easy job.
home town lad for a hometown club, don`t be surprised to see Bruce go to the Geordies, Pullis looks like he`s going to west brom, (sky sources suggesting he has been formally approached), which begs the question, who the fk we gonna get if Bruce decides to go the Newcastle hot seat.
I'm 99.999% certain Pulis wont go to WBA under their current structure. He wont be a head coach, he wants to buy and sell. So it depends entirely on whether they're prepared to rip-up their structure and chuck it out the window. The official quotes from them saying "they expect to have a new COACH in place before the weekend" suggests they wont. Dont back him.
Please no, not Pulis. That's a step backwards. I fail to see how he could get better out of the players available. We're suffering from injuries and suspensions ffs. If we had our actual first choices all available we wouldn't even be having this conversation. The only person I would really welcome that I think is even possible would be McLaren and I can't see him wanting to leave a potentially promotion chasing Derby.
