I can't wait to hear the excuses once bent scores the winner thereby sealing a 100% losing start to the season.

If we lose against West Ham and Fulham I genuinely believe that Pardew will be sacked.

Not even Ashley could put up with that.

The problem is. If he is sacked. It will be on the eve of 31 August. Thus a new manager would not have any time to buy new players.

Thus, I see the alternative solution from Ashley and thats the frightening thought of Joke In Ear taking over.

Although I want pards to go, I really do not want that prick in charge. Thus I fooking hope the lads pull their fingers out and get two results for us.

    GOD PLEASE HELP!

Constant excuses (he was delighted that Wenger bid for Cabaye to give him a perfect excuse for the hammering from City), he lost the dressing room long ago and is a dinosaur tactically. Its obvious in the game on saturday that West Ham will cause us nightmares from corners/free kicks with Nolan and the only time Pardew will attempt to address it is when Krul picks the ball from the net.

Isn't asking for patience from Newcastle United fans a bit like asking Kofi Annan for some diplomacy?

Now this may be controversial but I would rather Kinnear in charge than Pardew. At least with Kinnear you know he'll bollock the players when they deserve it and I actually reckon he'd be able to fire them up. Kinnear would be interested in winning games and not being best friends with the players (this seems to be important to Pardew for some reason). Regardless of what you think of the man all his ex players have said they really enjoyed playing under him.

Am I saying I want him as manager if Pardew goes? Of course not, however given the option of Pardew or Kinnear I fail to see how Kinnear could do any worse than Pardew.

I'm going to wait till saturday evening before making definite statements.

But there better be at least the semblance of a team playing against West Ham. It's not so much the result that matters, it's the performance.

Er, well no he didn't really.

He's asked for people to judge them after the two home games against 'Wist Aim' & Fulham.

I don't think anyone is truly impatient after one league game, the problem being is that everyone knew we would lose that game but were surprised about just how easily the players capitulated. <ok>

I will make sure this thread is at the top of our topic list for discussion after those 2 games. We'll see how it is if Alan pardew deserves his respite.

I smell a loss vs West Ham and a win vs Fulham. Anyone else sniffing it as well?

I agree that West Ham will win up here again and I have next to no confidence about Fulham, considering their excellent result against the Mackems.

Can't believe the reaction here - read what Pards actually says, it's perfectly fine. Sick of this witch hunt against him. Get behind him and see what he can do this season, despite the bad start. You have to give him some allowances that he's not being given the tools to work with, but ultimately to say Joe Kinnear could do better is laughable. Get a hold of yourselves, man.

Not when you actually look at his record. His win ratio is 35% during his time with us. However if you take out the 6-8 European victories then his win percentage in the league drops to around 33%. Are you happy winning 3 out of every 10 league games? It equates to 11 league wins a season...just look at the facts. It's relegation territory.

Forget one good season and one bad season etc. His record over his whole tenure is below average and shouldn't be ignored.

There is no reason why we can't win these two games.

The players are well aware that the performance wasn't acceptable at Man City.

They will be looking to redeem themselves and won't want to lose at SJP.

    I'm going 2 - 1 against West Ham.

I only hope that the team have more faith in themselves than a lot of the fans.
We need to get behind them on Saturday from the start to finish.

Couldn't agree more, we should always get behind the team and manager on a match day. Any discontent should be left until the final whistle or a forum which the manager or players are highly unlikely to read.

Don't be fooled by their win against us mate, they were very poor going forward, they had one effort on target and it went in

I'd like to see you guys get rid of Pardew and bring in a top class manager as soon as possible.

I see no point in getting rid of Pardew to appoint Kinnear. That would be a ****ing nightmare.

This is a Life On Mars last season flashback, isn't it?

How many times did we think last season that the players would fight after putting up a dismal show but then didn't? Then someone would come out and apologise or say that the showing was unacceptable and then next game, home or away, the same would happen again.

What makes this comment by Pardew any different?
