Amidst talk of interest from Inter Milan, Boriniâs agent Marco De Marchi is concerned about the situation, particularly as the £10million frontman still harbours hopes of securing a place in the Italy squad for next summerâs World Cup. âHe dreams of Brazil in 2014 and needs games,â said De Marchi. âHeâs only had a chance at Sunderland after the arrival of Gus Poyet, but it is still insufficient. I would like a meeting with Liverpool in January. âI can only say that if the situation of Fabio does not change in the next month, we may consider a return to Italy in order to improve his chances of being called up for the World Cup.â Sunderland are understood to have reached a financial agreement with Liverpool over Boriniâs wages when he moved to the Stadium of Light on transfer deadline day. I can't blame the lad, he wants to play. He hasn't had a run of games and it's a world cup year. Don't see a problem myself. I'd want off too.
World Cup coming up - he needs game-time. On loan. Fair do's. Can't see anything wrong with it myself.
Why not start him at Villa ?, go 3-4-3 Altidor, Borini, and Fletcher up front stuff the defending lark lets go down there and get revenge !.
