This lad has had a great season in the Bundesliga in a really unfashionable team. He Finished near enough top scorer in the German league playing for their equivalent of Blackpool. I heard a German sports reporter on Talksport saying he could really be a top top player. Just noticed Blackburn are enquiring about him, as well as other teams around Europe including Bayern Munich. I would love to be after him! Him, Sturridge and Gyan would be awesome!
We have been linked with him aswell am sure of it. An african player though, brucie has said he is reluctant to sign anyone from that part of the world this transfer window
Could be great signing for someone but imagine going into our "rough patch" without him and gyan. the fact we lose gyan means the player we bring in to partner him simply cannot be a player who will leave for the african nations cup. he's Senegalese and I dnt know for sure but id hazard a guess they'll/ve qualified.
Senegal are top of their group with two to play, one of them is against Mauritius who they should beat with a second string team. They should win their group, failing that be one of the best runners up (two teams) to go through. All a waste anyway because he's African. So a no-goer.
