Cheers Stanley, I had to read the Pellegrini comment about Joe Hart playing 8 games in 32 days twice as I looked at it adifferent way. Hart had 'worked' a maximum of 12hrs or so in 32 days and had to be rested? What a joke even if you include some training the comment is an insult to those who do regular 8 - 10hr shifts on a regular basis and shows how detatched the modern game now is from their fans.
so true needs a rest after doing what amounts to 1 days work a month. Its not as tho a keeper gets his heart rate going does it.\?
http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/hull-2-man-city-4-7842967 Missed one Wonder what the team talk was to send them out to in the first half? Hull stood off us and allowed us to play until we were 2 up then they got stuck in,seemed very odd. From then on it was a really even contest and really could've gone either way Do you have a problem with over zealous stewarding in the home end or is it just the away end?
Not surprising, they are the champions and are likely to be up there this season, plus I expect them to do well in Europe, not to mention their team is full of world class players, oh and they did beat us 2-4. I read a review on the BBC that described it as "Two goals from Edin Dzeko ensured champions Manchester City overcame a resilient Hull City." I thought that summed it up. After 15 mins there was a good chance we were gonna be mullered, but we made them work very hard for the points, despite those 2 late goals.
Thanks Stan, even after they went 2-3 up, when Ramirez came on we looked more threatening going forward, and I thought we might even snatch a draw.
Look at this s**tty comment from The Guardian comments section: Giftedbutlazee 27 September 2014 6:57pm Dzeko scoring midweek was a bonus as he's likely to go on a run now - he's very streaky. And Hull will always be Humberside to me. Yorkshire seems wrong. Prick.
Just goes to show how the national press disrespect us. Anyone else notice the plonkers got Liam Roseniors name wrong, called him Leroy, his dad, and another two stated that Elmo put over the cross that lead to the own goal not Rosy
They have a reputation for being even worse in the home ends, they really need sorting, they're way over the top.
My mate put his foot on the seat in front to tie his lace and was told he could throw out the stadium for that.
A lad in front of me was thrown out for celebrating when the 3rd went in,he was only stood on the top of the seat
Fair comment, and one that I would've agreed on, but a few years ago I saw some programme on TV (like a Gladiators thing for sporting celebs) and it included Mark Bosnich, competing alongside the likes of Ellery Hanley, among others. I can't remember exactly who else was in it, but there were a few top blokes from different sports, and I was gobsmacked that, not only did Bosnich not finish last, but he actually won it, proving himself to be fitter and stronger, pund-for-pound, than the rest of them!
