Just donated money and full financial backing to Hull City Ladies. Makes them the only womens team in the East Riding who don't have to pay subs. They have full use of the training facilities, transport, kit etc well done Papa.
Up until Allam agreed this deal the ladies team had to pay for their own training pitch, transport to the games, any fines etc. All City provided them with was a 4 year old kit. They had to buy all their own training gear. When they did a bucket collection last season they even had to buy tickets to the game for the girls who'd be holding the buckets on the concourse. Obviously Allam knew nothing of this and the minute he's found out he's sorted it brilliantly!
I would hazzard a guess and say the majority of City fans except a few on here that are a bit one sided in their opinions.
Quite a lot of us actually. Its a fairly vocal minority that didn't or don't. Everything has turned out exactly as I and a few others on these forums thought it would do. Please don't think that a couple of posts on here by a couple of individuals in any way represents the thousands of fans we have. Even the RH call in's don't represent the majority as nor do the HDM readers responses. Oh and especially CI. Not representative of the whole. "Proud to be, and always have been, an Allam Supporter".
For what the Allams have done for the area and for Hull City I have backed them 100% After all, they didn't have to part with 1p yet they sure have over the years. L K
CI does have its Allam supporters.. or at least people willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Nice move supporting the City ladies.
There's similar nonsense to this on the HDM today. Why does everything have to be black or white? I was, am and forever will be disgusted with the way Nick Barmby was treated. But have never failed to recognise what they have done for us. I'm happy with the appointment of Steve Bruce and the way we are going about our transfer business. I haven't now changed my mind about the crap decisions earlier in the summer. I'm not an Allam supporter or a detractor. I'm a Hull City supporter and I judge players, managers, owners and fans on events, I don't feel I have to have a predefined opinion of anything or anyone.
A very reasonable attitude. I assume you are fine with other people sharing the same attitude but not the same views or opinions.
Absolutely. I don't mind any opinion as long as it's reasoned and it comes about because of the circumstances. I don't like **** like this: So if the Allams went down in your estimation because of the NB situation you are "one sided in your opinions"? Nah.
